🎮 Demo Guide - Steam Next Fest Walkthrough

The ArcheAge Chronicles Demo is available on Steam during Steam Next Fest (October 19–26, 2026 PDT). Download free from the Steam store page, no purchase required. The Demo includes approximately 2–3 hours of quest content, the high-difficulty Throne of Hinnon dungeon, and the first public PvP channel experience.

Visit the ArcheAge Chronicles Steam store page (app 3218230) and click "Play Demo" or "Download Demo" if available during Steam Next Fest. The Demo installs separately from the wishlist entry. No XLGAMES account is required — just a free Steam account.

The Demo includes: main quest line (approximately 2–3 hours), character creation with all four classes, basic combat tutorial, the hidden Throne of Hinnon dungeon (high difficulty), PvP channel access via Nui Statue, and regional server selection. All content from the Demo will be available in the full Early Access version.

Throne of Hinnon is the Demo's high-difficulty bonus dungeon. Developers confirmed the entrance key is hidden in a hard-to-find location, but have not published exact coordinates. The dungeon features challenging boss mechanics designed for coordinated groups. Solo attempts are possible but significantly harder.

The Demo introduces the first public PvP channel experience. Switch between normal and PvP channels using the Nui Statue. In PvP channels, players can attack non-party, non-guild members. Normal channels are safe zones with no player-versus-player combat. PvP channels offer approximately 10–15% bonus experience for killing monsters.

The Demo runs from October 19 10:00 PDT to October 26 10:00 PDT. After this date, the Demo will no longer be accessible. Early Access date is still TBA — wishlist on Steam for notifications. Progress from the Demo does not carry over to Early Access.
